We stayed at GiG on 20.10.2019 after the baptism of our daughter with 10 people. It was perfect. The service is top-class. The food simply tasted class, everything is freshly prepared and of very high quality. None of us missed anything. The attention and kindness we have rarely experienced so well and above all sincerely. Our table was extra nicely covered, decorated and we had nothing to worry about. The boss took care of everything in advance and we were welcomed very nice and friendly. That's how you run a gastronomy. Thank you to the entire team of GiG. There's no more attention. We will definitely come more often.
I can imagine that the restaurant in summer is a great place to eat, relax and meet. Also the surroundings near the Neckar is great We sat yesterday with an informal group of about 20 people in the winter garden. Under Corona conditions this was already so that the door was open and it became quite cold despite an oven. Once the mask has not been worn, the responsibility lies with each individual. The food tasted very good and I had a large plate of salad with turkey strips. However, I cannot understand the enormous price level compared to other restaurants, the prices are 10-20% higher. That is not justified.

After a day trip we arrived hungry, but without reservation, in the GiG. The friendly staff found another table for us and we left. The staff and the owner are very attentive and friendly. Our food (Linsentaler and Putensteak) was really great. It's all well sprinkled and fresh. Very delicious. We'll be back!
The cook even offered us the whole menu at noon: The onion roast was very good, the salmon and the chicken carving too. Espresso is available for a Euro after a main meal and the location is class. Usually there is only a reduced menu for lunch, so please come in the evening.
Very good place, beer garden and more. With great views. Operation more than friendly. Here's the guest still king. Price performance ratio is very good. The card is very sufficient for all pleasures. Pizza hasn't eaten so well for a long time. I can only recommend it.
