My wife and I were looking to go in date night , so we dropped off the kiddos with grandparents and off we went on a search for a new experience. And we found it. I was a bit skeptical about its location, but it only added to the experience. We did NOT know that we needed to make reservations in advance ?. But as we stood there in shock, the owner came over and said... you know what, let me see what I can do for you . And he was able to put us in a table right away! The entire experience from the waitress to the owner checking up on us and making us feel welcomed was.... in lack of a better word... exquisite! The food was delicious, it 's presentation was on point for the type of restaurant...

From the moment we stepped inside, the service was outstanding. I believe our server's name was Bobby. We began our meal with the roasted tomato and red pepper bisque, which offered a delightful balance of creaminess and the tanginess of the tomatoes and peppers. I ordered the pork shank served with polenta. The polenta had a wonderful texture and was bursting with flavor. I didn't even need a knife for the pork shank—it was incredibly tender, and the brown sugar glaze perfectly complemented the pork’s natural taste. First I love the place looks like an old stable. Prices here are not olive garden prices, but also not quality. The food was fantastic. I had the seafood pasta that was phenomenal. Pasta, with a full hum feature, a kind of seafood sauce, and half a dozen or so shrimps. The portion size was exceptional. There's nothing worse than starving a restaurant. You can't get this. The service was good. I wouldn't say it was excellent, but it was acceptable and appropriate. All in all, it is a great place for a date, or a special occasion, but the prices make it a bit out of the area for a regular meal.

Gilardi hosted a dinner for an organization I collaborate with. The restaurant had fantastic decor in a spacious room that was perfect for our group. Our server was attentive and took excellent care of us throughout the evening. The meal was served family-style, with large platters placed on the tables for us to share. I made reservations for our anniversary dinner. For work-related reasons, we were only able to arrive half an hour later than our reservation. The owner kept our reservation so late despite us. He even allowed me to order flowers and send them to the restaurant before the time and put them on our table. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere made our anniversary very special. Would recommend this beautiful restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic dinner.

We are in town for the weekend at The University Plaza Hotel. We found this little beauty. After we confirmed a 730 reservation for 3, we went to the restaurant. They serve local craft beer that was good. We ordered the chicken parmesan, Cesar Salat, the house special ravioli and the meatball appetizer. Everything was delicious. Service was great. Would definitely recommend.

The wine selection was great, I had a white wine selected by the waitress and it was delicious. The only reason that I give this restaurant a 3 star is because of waiting time, I was there for probably more than 1 hour in a half. The service it's really slow but staff is lovely and they did apologize for the delay

This is a charming, cozy, and high-quality restaurant for Springfield. The meatball appetizer platter is beautifully presented, and the seasoning of the meatballs is exceptional. I will definitely return when I'm in town to sample more of the menu. Cheers! Reserva una mesa ahora

My wife and I ate here tonight and loved it. It was the best food we have had dining out in Springfield in a long time. The chicken and veal were excellent. We will be back and tell others about you. Our server was superb as well.
