Gilbey's Seafood and Steak

I don't know if this is normal for this place but they were out of almost everything. The shrimp scampi was rubbery and very soupy. Twice the server had to retake orders because they had run out of food. They even ran out of beer. We tried to order desert but they ran out of that too. Edit to review due to owner response. There was a wedding party there that got all of the food if this will remind you of anything. You ran out of Salmon, crab legs, (which is also part of the steamer pots) the party of 12 I was a part of are not from here and only 2 of the party had been to your establishment. (We went on their recommendation) the beer you ran out of Is Bud light, out of the 11 deserts we ordered 4 lava cakes and 7 key lime pies, we were brought 3 lava cakes and 1 key lime pie. You even ran out of the ice cream for the lava cake. I have no axe to grind with you as I don't even know you. Sorry you can't handle the truth

Terrible food. Old fish and shrimp, inedible chicken picata, old dry hamburgers with freezer burnt fries. Worst meal we have ever had. When we arrived they were somewhat busy. When we went back to our table we walked past numerous empty tables with lots of food still on the plates. Those dirty tables stayed the entire time we were there. No one cleared tables for over an hour. Owners/managers fighting with waitstaff. There's an older woman by the kitchen who seems to create a lot of issues and frustration among the staff. Please do not eat here. We are hoping we don't get sick after the terrible food we tried to eat.

First place we stopped at to eat when we arrived to orange beach. Great food for our party of 5 that included 3 children. Owner/manager came out and asked about our experience. Very welcoming and would definitely recommend.

Small mom and pop restaurant. Pricing was fair and the food was seasoned well. I enjoyed the corvina fish. This was executed perfectly

Excellent service. Accommodated us on our bikes. Loved the chicken/capers dish with Angel hair pasta. Fabulous!
