Y’all get online and just post so much negativity about this woman. My experience here was amazing, my friend and I were greeted as we entered the restaurant, I love love that the food is cooked as we order it, so there’s a bit of a wait but that’s good for me. I rather have freshly cooked food than to have food that been sitting there. Now for you negative Nancy’s, I seen a review that said the restaurant wasn’t opened exactly at 12. This cozy restaurant was wonderful. We ordered fried pork and chicken stew, both served with rice, fried plantains, and a side of spicy pimple relish. The food was delicious, even the rice had great flavor. The woman who served us (possibly the cook as well) was very friendly and welcoming. The portions were generous. It was my first time trying Haitian food and it was a fantastic experience.
Excellent customer service. Host was very accommodating and informative . Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for main course The fresh food is worth the wait. Ok...wasnt so sure about Haitian Food...but went on a limb and was inrcridbly surprised!!! Coconut Rice w Beans OMG! LAMKY (SQUINGILI for us Italians) was one of my favorite dishes of year. Pricey but great portions...mom was in the back and her awesome daughter was waitressing with a huge smile.
This restaurant in Huntington is definitely one of the best spots to eat. The food is always delicious and never disappoints. I also tried the Kibbeh, but they were so good that they were gone as soon as I got into the car.
It was a great experience. As you can see presentation was great and food was delicious. Service was excellent. It feels great going to a haitian restaurant with aunthentic food. Will definitely be going back.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, especially if you enjoy rich flavors. My favorite dish is the oxtail with nan sos, a perfect balance of spice and tanginess.
