Gio Modern Italian

Food, service, ambiance--all very good. However, the noise level is more than objectionable. Can hardly hear yourself think!! I've given this venue many chances always hoping the noise situation will improve, but it doesn't. This likely is my last time there. Was there with a friend who had never been there before, and we could barely converse; it was frustrating and annoying. Surely something can be done to improve the acoustics. I have heard this same complaint from others. It's a nice place that I would otherwise recommend, but if you're interested in conversing and relating, it's not the place for you. It is objectionable enough that I would not recommend it.

My four daughters and I just got back from dinner, and I must say it was a wonderful experience through and through. Modern Vibe while still staying true to traditional Italian cooking, the atmosphere was inviting and energetic. We all shared our meals and each was truly enjoyable. Dessert put it over the top with something for everyone again shared by all. James took exceptional care of us, and the support staff were attentive and responsive. We don't get out often so it was absolutely wonderful to have such an enjoyable experience. Five stars, would absolutely recommend! Thanks, guys!

We enjoyed our visit to Gio, although at first the noise level was really off-putting. Fortunately, we were seated in the back and so it wasn't too bad, but we still had trouble hearing each other speak. The service was just excellent: attentive and knowledgeable servers. The food was mostly good, although several of us ordered risotto and it was more like pilaf: grainy instead of creamy, as risotto should be.

Pricie and young modern place but not special for $20 lunch. Been there for dinner too. Underwhelming.
