Brought our friends in from out of town to experience the pizza. Simply called for the waitress and what I thought was politely, asked for refills as she hasn’t been to our table in awhile which completely understand. The waitress proceeded to make a comment to me that almost felt a little threatening, and gave the whole table attitude because she said she was busy. I understand busy. But when working a customer service job there’s absolutely no circumstances that you talk to a PAYING customer that way, especially one that is paying over $100 for food dining in. I did the curbside pickup . Went towards the end of the pickup time window (7:16pm -7:26pm) and food was ready. I did 1/2 cheese 1/2 chicken sausage deep dish pizza. It was perfect. Only issue we had was figuring out which side is which because we asked not to cut the pizza so it will be fresh and warm. Maybe next time I'll have them make a small make to show the halves.Im not a fan of deep dish in general because of the amount of dough. But what I like about them is the dough is Soo delicious. Almost like the flavor of a croissant.I ordered a salad and some wings as well. Everything was perfect. The small size deep dish was more than enough for 2 ppl. We had leftovers for the next day.
This place was great! My son wanted to grab Chicago style pizza while we were passing through. We called ahead to place our order so it was ready when we got there, although we still ate there. We were trying to save time and it was recommended for the deep dish pizza. My daughter and I both have food allergies and we’re able to get gluten-free pizzas. The manager was great and very accommodating. I highly recommend this place.
Steve was so wonderful!! I had an afternoon flight and needed two frozen pizzas for a Giordano’s lover to surprise them. I called Giordano’s super early in the morning and Steve told me he would have those two frozen pizzas ready for me in a freezer bag to take on my flight. After arriving in Chicago and asking a local for a pizza recommendation, they pointed us to Giordano's. We were not disappointed! Keith, our waiter, was amazing and answered all of our questions and made recommendations for us as first-time visitors. The classic Chicago pizza was incredible and definitely worth the trip. We will definitely be coming back!
I stopped at this restaurant on the way back to Michigan to pick up some frozen pizzas to take home. The staff was friendly and the separate bag for the takeout was fantastic. I will definitely make a point to stop at this place every time I visit my cousins in the area.
