Giordano's Des Plaines

Giodano's has made a dream come true a halal, deep dish, all meat pizza. What more could you ask for. We are not locals. We visited Chicago had it in Feb 2020 (first two pics) and then Jan 2022. I'm so glad my husband insisted on all meat. The 2022 trip was specifically just to eat the pizza because I was craving it. Between two people, it easily lasted us a couple of meals for this size Is it cheap? No. Is it worth it? Until someone else can compete, it'll be worth it. *This is apparently the only location (so far) with the halal option I believe.

Decent pizza (doesn’t compare to Lou malnati though however the guy taking orders at the counter (Salman? has a huge attitude problem. He’s doing everyone a favor buying pizza from him, as if he a higher being. Restricts halal pizza to large only which makes no sense. Needs to get off his high horse. If it wasn’t for the halal pizza I would have uturned without hesitation. In fact, I’m not going to bother going here again. Good riddance!

We are from michigan and came to chicago airport to pick up in-laws…. We are lucky to have Found this place which has halal options….The pizza is soo sooo good, you don’t need to order anything else…..I can go back to Chicago just for this pizza… the chicken tenders were good too

This was my first time experiencing Chicago deep dish pizza and was hoping it was going to be better. It was just OK. I had no issues with the service there, but maybe the pizza just wasn't for me. I can't really knock the place.

Their food is always so good and delicious. Today we ordered a large cheese pizza, wings and salad. This is my favorite location. We’ll be back soon!!
