Giorgio's South Orange

When we first walked in to Giorgio's we waited a bit for someone to greet us and seat us. Once we were seated quite a long time went by before anyone offered us menus, this despite the fact that the restaurant was mostly empty. So this wasn't a good start. Once our waiter finally came over things went much better. Overall we enjoyed our meal and the service was fine moving forward. The general consensus was that the food was quite good. However, the primary reason why we won't return, at least not any time soon, was that the restaurant (on Thanksgiving weekend) was playing religious Christmas music. My daughter and son-in-law recently moved to South Orange, and we decided to check out this stunning restaurant on the corner. It’s definitely a place we’ll visit again! The food is truly authentic Italian, and the service is friendly. I highly recommend Giorgio's!

Italian restaurant with some patrons speaking Italian, which was a good omen for meal. Friendly attentive service from owner family, who seemed genuinely grateful for patronage. Good obviously made fresh delicious. Portions generous. Easy parking.

I was there for the second time at the silvester. the menu was prix fixe, typical of a holiday. I ordered the rib-eye steak that was delicious. the service is great. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant, which is BYO, is in a lovely home environment. The Italian food is very fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive.
