Is it acceptable for a pizzeria to be out of pizza not once, but twice? The first time, we were informed that their dough machine was broken. During our most recent visit, around 5:30 PM on a Sunday, the waiter approached us to apologize and explained that they had sold the last slice of the "house pie" and couldn’t make a whole pizza just for one slice. Fortunately, Giovanni's delivers excellent quality and fair prices on all their items. Let's start with the pizza. We typically order one large pie with extra cheese and another pie that’s half mushroom and half sausage. Personally, I'm not a fan of mushrooms, but the mushroom lovers in our group really enjoy those slices. The sausage pizza definitely packs a meaty punch, offering great value for your money, and the extra cheese pizza is incredibly cheesy. In short, the pizza is delicious, and the garlic knots are fantastic—large, soft, and seasoned with just the right amount of garlic.

On Saturday at 8 PM, I found the food quality to be quite good, but the service needs some improvement, particularly in food preparation. I waited about 45 minutes for my entree platter and couldn't help but wonder why it was taking longer than usual. Overall, the food was great, but I didn't expect such a long wait for service.
The service was awful, and the clams were nothing but breading. I feel like Groupon is a scam. The staff yelled at me and made me feel really bad. I will never return to this place.

I recall a time when a meatball parmesan was served with whole meatballs drenched in so much sauce that you would definitely need a bib to enjoy it.
The food was outstanding, and the staff was extremely polite. I will definitely keep coming back to this restaurant.
