The initial good welcome from the owner of the place and we know why when we read on... was radically transformed when I informed her two hours after our arrival that we were leaving her establishment while offering her pay for the room after deduction of meals not taken. No telephone network, no wifi, no TV, no towels, but according to her view of the lake which alone justified the price of 130€ per night so excluding 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts i.e. price of a room in a 3 or 4 star hotel. I have been returning to this wonderful place every year for 17 years. A simply fantastic place. The view is spectacular, the refuge is so nice, who manages it and who also works there, the food and prices are good, the rooms are clean. Recommended... for life! Stopped by for a lunch and it was wonderful. We had polenta with local cheeses and an omelette...both lovely. Fabulous setting overlooking the lake, great service, perfect. Would happily return and would definitely recommend. Service: 5 Location: 5
