Our daughter and her family recently moved to Lexington, Kentucky and had heard from several people that they must try Giuseppe's Ristorante Italiano. Since we were going to be in town visiting for our 46th anniversary right before Thanksgiving, we made a reservation for the six of us for Monday night, 11/20/2017. I loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in and our table was ready when we arrived. Our server Jordan, was amazing! He immediately took our drink orders, told us about the Monday night half price bottles of wine special (yes, we took advantage of it! and replaced the kids' tall water glasses with lidded cups much appreciated! ; We ordered the Mozzarella Impanata and it was prob...
Whenever I 'm at home I always like to recommend different places to my husband who is from St. Louis, home of the infamous 'The Hill '. An area known around the world for the best Italian food. We searched for a great steak house, but I remembered the best kept hideaway I had the pleasure of experiencing with a close friend while home visiting over 20yrs ago, Giuseppe 's; we were both pleasantly pleased.
The service has always been friendly and very accommodating I have been twice now and both times the waiter has been excellent and the food absolutely delicious along with the light jazz and low lighting making the atmosphere as actractive as the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great Italian dinner.
It’s been years since I was at Giuseppe’s and it is just a good now as it was then!! I highly recommend eating here. We went for our anniversary and they treated us wonderfully. Surf and Turf steak, shrimp, and lobster served with Zucchinni and New Potatoes. Perfectly cooked!! Wonderful experience!!!
