Ordered breakfast requesting uncaramelized mushroom (as stated in the menu the mushroom is caramelized) ending up serving with RAW mushrooms. Told the staff, the staff took the whole plate of breakfast away for 5 mins and serve again with still half of the mushroom UNCOOKED plus other food was cold already. Added $4 for meat sausages taste salty and poor quality meat. The poor sausages were charred, looked like they had gone through a fourth degree burn. The hash brown must just had a salt bath or jumped into a pile of salt for a swim. One bite was tasteless and another bite was extremely salty. Was like the scene in the Squid Game of glass stepping stones 1/2 chance of tasteless, 1/2 chance...
I recently visited Gj's after my boyfriend and his mother, long-time fans of the place, insisted I give it a try. Since it was Rump Monday, I ordered the steak with chips and salad, and I must say, it was the best salad I've ever had from a small takeaway shop! The steak was absolutely worth it—I think I paid around $12, maybe even less, and it was better than Hogs Breath!
My partner chose the Chicken Scollopini, and I had the chance to try it as well. I loved it, and I'm definitely planning to return for a full experience soon! Congratulations, Gj's—I’m now a loyal customer!
The staff here are wonderful, and the food is just as great! The pasta dishes are incredible. I was even surprised by a simple plate of bacon, eggs, and tomatoes with buttered toast—I've never had toast with butter that was so satisfying anywhere else! The team is friendly and kind, always making their customers feel comfortable and welcome. I give this place 5 stars!
Every time we visit this restaurant, the quality and service remain exceptional. The portions are generous, offering great value for money. Everything is made fresh to order, and it’s definitely worth the wait. The menu has a fantastic variety that caters to the whole family! I always enjoy my visits to GJ's because they never fail to impress.
