Nice little bar inside the Alamo to grab a beer before your movie. There's a tv in there and about 6-8 stools at the bar. A few high tables and outside seating round out the rest of the usable space. Bartender was nice and chatted with the people at the bar. He was slightly inattentive when I was trying to close out. I didn't want to interrupt his conversation and still had plenty of time until my movie started. A clock inside the bar would be nice to ensure you didn't miss the previews for your movie.
I love coming here and especially to trivia on Tuesdays. The food, the drinks, the service. All exceptional. However, I have noticed recently that they have stopped playing movies on the TVs. As a bar at a movie theater, I feel like it makes sense to also have movies playing in the GHF...I can imagine I would linger longer simply to finish a movie that was on. Seems like a missed opportunity.
This restaurant is attached to the Alamo cinema. In addition to a bar, they offer drink service right at your movie seat. The theater also provides a variety of snacks, including sandwiches, popcorn, cookies, and other treats that you can enjoy while watching your film. The bar features lovely outdoor seating with oversized wooden Jenga sets for some fun as well. It's a really nice spot!
The Glass Half Full is located at The Alamo Drafthouse. You can stop in for a a drink or select from their large variety of beer on tap. Seeing Stars from Solace a DIPA was one of the on tap beers that I recently tried and very much enjoyed.

Great staff, great mix of beer and a good place to hang out while waiting for your show to start at the Alamo Draft House.

Good selection of beers tho choose from before you watch yuppie movie
