We ate at GPD last night. There were 5 of us. Food was good. But the problem was with the menu, staff and their attitude. We arrived on time for the second sitting commencing at 8 pm. Service was slow. Our entree arrived at 8.50pm....We were told when we sat down that of the 5 main courses offered on the menu there were only three servings of duck remaining it being one of the courses offered. We said we wanted two of them and we were assured they would be reserved for us. When it finally came to ordering our meals we were told that one of the four entrees on the menu was no longer available and one dessert was no longer available. We found it unacceptable that one offering from every course...

Dinner for three couples, Saturday night. One couple are locals and regular customers, and recommended based upon previous experience, although they commented “food is good, service can be abrupt” Busy restaurant. Table 17. $75 pp three course menu. Reasonable wine list, all Australian wines offered....Starters ordered variety of Pate, yellow fin Tuna and prawns. All dishes arrived promptly and all declared delicious. Service provided by very friendly and helpful young staff member. Mains ordered; a variety of the rack of lamb, steak and pasta dishes. I’ve dined here more than a dozen times and mostly found the experience to be good, even excellent at times. Today by contrast the experience was decidedly average. On arrival we were informed an outdoor seat requested and confirmed when booked was unavailable....The greeter disputed this, so to save an argument we agreed to be seated elsewhere. Then a series of disappointments, each trivial, compounded one upon another: charged for sparkling water when we asked for tap, meals muddled up by servers, steak fatty and undercooked, puzzling choice of 1950s rock music and so forth. I am not sure if the chef has changed since our last visit a few months ago, but this lunch a few days ago with my wife was very disappointing to say the least. the starter was just terrible: a piece of sourded, which was limited...sale with an enormous amount of hit butter and a piece of sardelle above! the escaped were quite incident. my meat carpaccio was strongly diced and cut into cubes that it very unattractive and not nice to eat. the main thing was ok, but let me keep the best (worse) for last: chocolate mousse with olive oil! what did this cook think?! we have gedint there and I have only recommended good so that I was really confused and disappointed as I would probably not return... that was nice. pat big burned butter garne ok. the duck was very good and pasta averaged. bomb alaska burns meringue, tasted like a blase, but kokosnuß eis super. cook personal when they want a good restaurant to cook the chefs...in better than cargo pants and tshirts and do not leave them on handys and eat when its open kitchen! so a bad first and lasting impression. the wine list of glass was appalling, not everyone wants a bottle and only 3 red/white is lousy. all up to $240 for 2 people. I have better places to spend my money trying to see montes in leichhardt as done at local level

my family of 6 had a 12,00 a.m. on Sunday lunch a fixed menu of $75.00 we arrived immediately and spent 899,00 good spender) we couldn't even finish our main course before we were informed that sweetness arrive at 1,25pm the owner said: "we. had to be reset before next hire by 2pm. eating was simply ok, but no options for non-seafood stuck with solid entree options. on the plus page was the service excellent, this format works for a family who likes “Eat Run” but people who like a restaurant experience, definitiw go elsewhere

We had the shared menu given the size of our booking, ever single dish was exquisite. We spent the majority of the evening discussing the food rather than business as planned. The oysters were delectable, followed by beautiful local produce (fish /tuna crudo amazing /vege...pasta/beef flank steak) and finished with the Burnt Alaska and chocolate mouse that blew our socks off. The service was wonderful, very patient and knowledgeable. Thank you for a wonderful mean and can’t wait to return.

almost very good, but only the sign is missing. from the quality of cooking (fish, duck, garnel) to the aromene was the meal almost very good, but fell short. the staff was very nice and the service was good. a nice place to be...but would not win her use on the basis. We really enjoyed our dinner at Glebe Point diner. Service was great too. We had the wagyu beef tartare, king fish, bevette and pork cutlet. Will go back again!

Warm kind service. The food was excellent too especially the tuna crudo and the bavette of Wagyu beef for a quick dinner or a slow intimate meal.
