I was very disappointed. As someone who has tasted some of the best pizza in the US this was a deceptive experience. The first time I came I asked if the mushrooms were fresh. They were and the pizza was actually pretty good. I thought this might be my new local pizza joint. Second visit they gave me canned mushrooms and it completely ruined the pizza. It was salty and sour. Even my seven year old spit it out and he loves mushrooms. Seems they have lost their standards. I will not be returning.
Got a sub here and it was alright. I wasn't upset that I tried it, but I wasn't really impressed. The guy who brought my order had the most disgustingly dirty hands and fingernails which almost made me not want to eat if he can't wash his hands when handling food. I like the subs from another place in Glen Rock, which I'll just stick to. Curious to try the pizza here, but not interested to have nasty hands all over my food. May or may not be back... we'll see.
I threw a surprise party for my fiancé yesterday originally I ordered from papa johns (15 pizzas) and they ended up canceling my order without reasoning. I found this pizza shop by the house and decided to order here. They were so friendly and the pizza was delicious! I showed up a little early and they already had it done and in the warmer. I would pay the few extra bucks to buy from a mom and pop shop over a chain. Would 100% recommend!
The sausage, pepperoni, and onion pizza is cooked perfectly! It's the best pizza around. Joe also makes an amazing Hawaiian pizza. He's a true artist when it comes to pizza. The Sicilian pizza at this restaurant is absolutely incredible, and the stromboli is the best you'll ever have. I haven't come across a better stromboli than Joe's, and I doubt you will either. Was driving home and needed to find something for dinner. Looked this spot up to try and it was good. Pizza was better than most in the area.
