Good food and awesome hot roast beef sandwiches.We visited the diner today 3/2/2024 very upset that the waitresses were fighting about over tables the one with grayish hair she was tried of waiting on big tables, so the other one with black hair put us a party of 5 in the grayish lady section, we waited 35min ,no one came to our table, alot of people where complaining about the service while we were there waiting finally we left and went some where else , where we were treated like we should have been treated. WE WON'T EVER GO BACK TO THE GLIDER AGAIN, IT HAS GONE DOWN HILL.
Upon entering, you'll find yourself in a 1940s-style dining car, complete with booths and barstool seating at the counter. There are also three additional dining areas nearby. The portion sizes are generous, and I find the prices to be quite reasonable for the quality of food you receive. While they don’t serve alcohol, there are plenty of options for soft drinks, juice, milk, or coffee.
For those with mobility challenges, it's best to enter through the back of the diner for easy wheelchair access.
The food was good, had breakfast. Had 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes, fried potatoes, my friend had sausage and Texas toast French toast. The waitress was very nice. Parking: Plenty of parking places. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: There's an entrance in the back for anyone who can't use the steps in the front. The doors are heavy.
First time at this diner yesterday. The service was friendly. The food was great. The caffeine fries are to die for! I had the Glider sandwich. Meat was tender and juicy served on a kaiser roll. Definitely stop and have a meal at the Glider!

this classic diner from 1948 has an ambience of the steam era of railroading, it has a great staff, great food, and the area is excellent. this place is a must-go if you are on a roadtrip or you're headed to steamtown
Good food for decent prices! Historical, and when they have them, their massive cinnamon buns are incredibly delicious. They do have other foods as well.
Turkey dinner, comes with a mound of stuffing, covered by a delicious covering of turkey, gravy. Love love
Glider Diner is your average local establishment, no surprises. Prices are very fair. Service was fast.
