Philippe?s, in Downtown Los Angeles might have invented the French Dip Sandwich. I love that place. But, alas, Hope! The Glendon Grill eases the pain of separation. The quiet, country atmosphere, delicious food, great beer, and good service aren?t going to make me forget about my first French Dip experience, when I was nervous, and inexperienced. But eventually, the hustle and bustle of urban life is tiresome. I ate my French Dip so fast, I couldn?t take a picture. Great : food, beer Good: atmosphere Less great: the beers are about 6 oz. really. You CAN serve a man-sized beer. And that delicious sandwich could been bigger.
Love this service oriented, and very friendly neighborhood place that offers destination dining in an easy come as you are bistro bar. Try the Mango Mandarin Grilled Shrimp salad bountiful and balanced. Mild melty cheesy lump Crab flatbread, toasty and tasty, to share. Big surprise was a shared desert that 3 of us couldn 't quite finish Fresh Fruit Neopolitan, big fat swirls of the decadent creamy filling layered with ultra thin crisp wafers and ripe summer fruit. We started going to GG for the Burger Nights, been returning for the rest of the menu.
5 of us ate in Glyndon Grill last night and enjoyed our food!! The chicken pancakes were made fresh and chopped with chicken etc. The crust was delicious. The scalop dish was so delicious. The risotto that accompanied the scallops was creamy and tasty. Shut up! Great cosmos! We'll be back. Thanks to our waitress, who was very attentive and efficient.

We recently had a chance to give them a try for lunch and decided to book our Valentine's Day dinner there. It was a nice menu and solid service. We look forward to getting to try some more of their dishes in the future!
Came here for restaurant week and it was worth it .Every dish ordered was outstanding. Even the kids meal had excellent flavor and care in the preparation. I will definitely become a regular at this establishment.
Our favorite Sunday evening dinner date spot. Our server Mike always knows what our order is and how to accommodate us.
Delicious food. Waited 45 minutes for an 8:00 reservation and had to remind staff twice that we were waiting.
