Gnarley Barley is a vibrant and lively brewery located in Tangipahoa Parish, just on the outskirts of Hammond near Ponchatoula. The energetic Jarred Smith manages the place, and the friendly staff create a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere. Housed in a warehouse-style building, the brewery features open taps and canned options for orders. They offer crawfish on weekends during the season, and there's a kitchen available for food orders. This is a great spot with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they have a solid selection of unique beers. I'm especially a fan of the hazy/New England IPAs. Just a heads up, the taproom is completely open to the brewing area, but that's common for craft breweries. If you're in the Hammond area, it's definitely worth a visit. Next time, I plan to spend more time exploring the beer garden that I unfortunately missed.

We visited when spending time in Hammond back in November 2022 and I haven 't stopped thinking about Good Seed since. Great atmosphere, amazing and friendly bartenders, and the brew tank names are hilarious.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I just enjoyed my coconut jucifer, and I also received an awesome t-shirt. Thank you, everyone! Reserva una mesa ahora

Super customer service and suggestions. We did a flight of beers, and the Jucifer IPA was our favorite. Better on tap at the brewery than in the can at the store. Well worth a visit.

Good beer! Bad morals! Actively promotes Drag shows. Wouldn’t surprise me if they believe there are more than two genders. Throw them in the same trash bin as Anheuser-Bush.
