Godwins Fish And Chips

I used to love Godwins but it's certainly not what it used to be. Not the first time I've had an unpleasant experience here, staff are just rude. Portions are so small and chips are undercooked. About a year ago they weren't very nice to a family member of mine who has learning disabilities. At the time had only just gained confidence in going out places independently. He had come home extremely upset after being called names by a member of staff and hasnt had the confidence to go back since. I had addressed the issue with the shop but had no response.

I have tried many fish and chip shops but this is by the far the best. They also have a great ordering system (which they have continued post Covid). The lightly battered haddock is superb the chips are always so tasty and non-greasy. The staff are always efficient friendly too. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else in the area.

Fantastic service, pre ordered over the phone and ready to pick up in 10 minutes. No waiting around. Delicious food, with light and fluffy Gluten Free batter.

Great gluten free fish and chips. Great service. Polite and respectful. We pre order and then always on time to collect. Best chip shop ever

I went sometime back in april and the food was good. eggslent food and the prices are cheap and cool
