We had a midweek meal at Golcar Lily and were impressed by the great menu options available. Alongside sandwiches, giant Yorkshire puddings, and pizza, they also offer traditional favorites like lamb, belly pork, and steak and ale pie. The specials menu had a large selection, making it hard to choose. I opted for the steak and ale pie, which was delicious and came in a generous portion size. The homemade chips were particularly outstanding. My husband enjoyed the cannelloni, which he described as very tasty. The prices were fair and the service was quick and friendly.
We came for Sunday lunch sitting in the bar area, which had a nice, cheerful atmosphere atmosphere. There were a lot of options on the Sunday Lunch menu, you can choose from the various range of courses. The food was delicious (belly pork for me). Another diner mentioned the pizzas on the other menu are really something special so we will be back to try them! Overall we had such a nice time. Definitely recommend this place.
Chef Daryl prepares incredible dishes that are well worth the price. Our waitress, Ash, provided excellent service and was great at interacting with customers. She deserves a 10/10 rating. We enjoyed a delightful meal of prawn cocktail, game pie, and trifle. Huge thanks to everyone involved in making our visit memorable. This pub is the best around with excellent prices.
Fabulous friendly service, nothing was too much trouble by the great staff. The food was perfect. We had beef filled Yorkshire puddings, the salmon and the chicken with apple sauce. Absolutely spot on. For desserts we had blackforrest trifle, waffles with choc icecream and jam roll poly with custard. Delicious. All served with smiles.

Quite a while since our last visit. W e had a lovely midweek lunch, the menu choice is excellent with something for everyone. The portions are very generous and the food is very well cooked. The waitress was very helpful and it certainly won't be long before we are back again. If you haven't been here you are missing a treat.
Decided to have a day off from the cooking Sunday dinner and visited The Golcar Lilly. We all had pork belly with Yorkshire puddings and lots of vegetables and delicious gravy followed by Sticky toffee pudding with custard. Absolutely delicious served by very friendly staff. Will definitely be coming again.
We have been to the Lily so many times and it deserves ten times the custom it gets. Always cheery, good, in fact great food at a sensible price, in a lovely location. It's a gem that deserves to be better recognised. Keep up the great service! Trevor Alex.
We came for a family meal with two young children. There is a huge regular menu and additional specials menu full of variety. The food was amazing and the wait staff helpful with the questions we had about the menu. Will be returning to try Sunday lunch!

Had an excellent meal and received outstanding service! Came in today to celebrate a birthday, and the staff was fantastic, very attentive. The food was delicious! I will definitely be coming back again!
