Having the Gold Leaf and Plumes to choose between, both having average reviews, I am so glad we chose Gold Leaf. Thinking we would have an "average" experience I was pleasantly suprised. The dining room is spacious, giving it a comfortable ambience, with plenty of room for the trolleys to move around without feeling cramped. There's plenty of tables, which means we didn't have to wait for a table, and weren't rushed out when we finished.The variety was incredible, with many many dishes I had not come across in Yum Cha - so if you are seeking to try something new I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this option. Visited this eatery on what I believed was a quiet day however within minutes of it opening at 11.30 a.m. the place began to fill very quickly. It is a Chinese cuisine however there were people from a wide range of ethnic background with many back for the zillionith time.The waiting staff were friendly and helpful and food came to you on trolleys. The quality of the food was really quite good and if I wasn't worried about my waistline I would have indulged even more. This is a great place for a meal and the Yum Cha servings were tasty, filling and affordable.
This place is fantastic for couples or family. Just make sure you book a table. The food is beautiful and it just keeps on coming out. Your never hungry or wondering when the next trolley will be coming around. The staff are lovely too. If you havent seen something that your looking for just ask and they will get it straight away. Have also visited on Chinese New Year and it was fantastic. The kids also loved it. The dragon went around all the tables inside and out and fireworks were set off outside. We travel just over an hour to come here for a yum cha.
Sunday Yum Cha on Lunar new year was very busy! The restaurant is big but the tables are well spaced. We went there for lunch at 1pm on Wednesday. The place was a quarter full. We ordered a plate of stir fry rice noodles and chose 4 yum Cha dishes. The noodles didn't come out for a long time. We had to ask for the noodles again. Finally came out after 35 mins. The bill was $62.50, which is really expensive for a small plate of noodles and 4 yumcha dishes.
My brother owns his house in the area where this restaurant is, and we went for a quick drive there for lunch with the family, I am not a big yum cha guy but my mum & dad smashed it, they are really satisfied with the meals and service. It has a unique character.
Good taste with Reasonable price. Three of us had a lot of dim sums and cost around 90 dollars. Most are good taste with lovely presentation. I don't like their bbq pork bum. Oyster dim sum wasn't as good as I expected. Anyway,I recommend this place!
I have been to this restaurant several times now on trips home to see family and it has been consistent each time. Very busy so book ahead. Service is slow for dim sum so don't be shy to chase the servers around the restaurant. Food is very yummy !

We came to see a doctor here, just across from this restaurant and decided to have lunch here. The food was gorgeous, and well presented. It was tasty and just lovely. The service was quick and friendly. A lovely place for a meal.
I highly rate the chicken feet, couldn't get enough of them! Desserts were great as well. Staff were quick and more than enough food around the restaurant. I'd go back.
