This restaurant is a great choice for those craving Cincinnati-style chili. It allows you to enjoy chili even when dining out with non-vegan family members. Typically, my wife and I make Cincinnati chili at home using packets and lentils for meat. However, this restaurant provides a nice change of pace, especially for my omnivore wife to enjoy the dish she grew up with. It's unfortunate that the oyster crackers contain dairy, but you can easily order your meal without cheese for a vegan option.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted promptly and told we could choose our own seats. Jojo came to take our drink order right away, and she was friendly and pleasant. The food was excellent and came out quickly, just like always! I would give it 4 stars only because this Gold Star location is showing its age and could use a makeover or update. However, that won't keep me from returning in the future!

I can't recommend this place enough. I may be a bit biased towards this particular Goldstar Chili because I've gotten to know the staff well. Whenever someone asks me where to eat, I always suggest this Goldstar Chili as the best option.

The chili at this Cincinnati restaurant is absolutely delicious, and they have recently started offering a version made with Beyond Meat that is also fantastic!
