my wife and I lived in the mountain black stone (on the road) and decided to try this place and we were very glad that we did. this is a real German wine bar/kitchen and offered a very nice wine card of all local German...Berry and spatbegunder (pinot noir) in the valley as well as authentic German foods. the service was excellent and our waiter was friendly enough to work with our poor German and help us. the atmosphere was alive and full of life - it seemed like a local hangout that is exactly what we wanted! it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone staying in the opposite!
Food was good and the wines too, but the service did not go. After the food was only partly cleared, no one asked if we wanted to order anything, there was no service power appealable and overall we felt little welcome. Shame! Above all, the terrace with the view over the vines is an optical highlight.
riesling selection of riesling only tablets several out and they will find their favorites. eating was really good, various local starters go well with wine. that's just shy. here you will not find any reservations. be early or take a book if they have to wait. and this place is worth waiting!
