Probably my least favorite Chinese meal I 've ever had. Accidentally ordered from here after hearing good things about Golden BOWL. (Same owner? So, the guy at the counter said that Golden China is more American ... Golden Bowl is more Chinese. I understand there is a market for this style of Chinese restaurant, but if you 're looking for flavor, garlic, and spices, I wouldn 't recommend. The General Tso 's was hot and crispy, but the sauce was so bland and reminded me of a thick syrupy ketchup. Although we asked for it to be spicy, it wasn 't at all. After ordering takeout from this restaurant multiple times without any issues, I unfortunately had a bad experience today. I ordered dumplings and bean curd soup, but when I opened the dumplings, I found strands of hair in them. I promptly called to address the issue and requested a refund. When the manager came to process my refund, she removed the hair from my food with her bare hands and engaged in a lengthy argument about what should or shouldn’t be in my meal. Instead of acknowledging that there should only be the food I ordered, she was quite defensive. This was a disappointing customer experience!

This restaurant is fantastic for quick and tasty Chinese food. As an Ardmore resident, I appreciate having it conveniently close by. Although it can be a bit challenging to understand the owner at times, I’ve ordered takeout multiple times and it’s always ready in 10-15 minutes and prepared correctly. One thing to keep in mind is that this place isn’t ideal for anyone on a diet. Don’t let the low prices deceive you—they serve generous portions! I often find that their lunch specials provide enough food for two meals. Nevertheless, this is undoubtedly my favorite Chinese restaurant.
I was eager to try Golden China as there aren't many affordable Chinese takeout places in the area. We ordered won ton soup, an egg roll, a sesame chicken combo platter and mixed vegetables and chicken. The won ton soup was pretty standard, as was the egg roll. The sesame chicken was good, definitely a very generous portion. I found the pork fried rice to be very bland. The chicken and mixed veggies were okay- the sauce they were in was very bland though. I wasn't as impressed as I wanted to be, I'd say this place was just average.
Very good food! They are really a take out spot, but have one solo table to sit and eat. The gentleman behind the counter provided excellent service, even though it's not a waiter type place. Wish we lived closer! This would be our spot! Great, delicious, piping hot food! Welcoming, friendly service to everyone that walked in. Definitely worth stopping in. Yummy egg rolls! We had crab Rangoon, beef broccoli, shrimp egg foo young, general tso chicken, egg rolls. All delish!
This is a pretty solid joint. The food has always been at least above average, but nothing really stands out as being the best Chinese you can get. Nothing disappoints, but it does miss that wow factor. I've actually stopped coming here, because I go to their sit-down restaurant, Golden Bowl, a store or two down the road.

The search continues.. overpriced and skimpy portions! $6.95 for coconut shrimp and my order contained a lousy 4 little shrimps! So disappointed!!
