I recently dined at the Golden Egg Breakfast Dinner Place and had a somewhat mixed experience. I opted for the vegan option, along with a refreshing smoothie, and I must say that the vegan dish was delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and I appreciated the effort put into catering to plant-based eaters.However, I have to admit that I was disappointed with the pancakes my friends ordered. They didn't look as appetizing as we had hoped. The presentation seemed lackluster, and the texture appeared slightly undercooked. It was my first time visiting today. I came with 4 people. We got a table pretty quick and our orders were taken quickly as well. However, it took 55 minutes to get our food. One food order was incorrect. The waitress took the food back and brought the same one back out two times until we told her we can tell it's not what we ordered so stop. And it took 1 hour to get water. Had to ask for glasses of water twice. They never provided any cutlery. Has to ask for it once at the table and then go up to cash to ask for it again. Never seen such slow service before. Food was okay.
My friends rave about this place so I decided to try it out. The food came out fast, hot and fresh. The pancakes were fluffy, we had vegan omelettes which were really good. The home fries are crispy…everything was great including the service which was amazing. The owner was also serving alongside his staff, they were polite, attentive and just seemed to be caring people. I haven’t been to a place that provides this type of genuine service in a long time.I’ll definitely be back!Vegetarian options: I have never seen a vegan breakfast menu this vast!! I was very impressed.
The staff were very friendly and the food was great. My one complaint would be that the table was rather small for our party of 6. The waitress kept bringing the food out without clearing the table, and the table was getting full. I had to ask her to clear out some items so we could make space, and she was good about it.
Not much to say about this place other than it’s a regular breakfast place. Not my go to type of breakfast, but it did the job. Exciting vegan breakfast. Perfect place for a couple where one is, vegan and the other isn't. The tofu scramble was perfectly flavored, patty was nicely crispy and they were smart to not butter the toasts. The vegan bacon could have use a bit more crisp. Service very quick and friendly.
