Golden Fish & Chips

It’s a cute little fish chip place but it’s mediocre. Portions are small, the quality is okay but nothing to write home about.Unfortunately this town rates all of its restaurants 2 stars too high. I was hoping to be wrong about this one but it’s just okay.

After I checked if the restaurant was open before I took the 40-minute drive, it was closed when I arrived. the online hours should be accurate.

Excellent fish and chips. Not too much batter, but fish itself could be a bit thicker. Very good chips. Not cheap, but worth the price.

I have the family special. children loved it. the fish is freshly fried and would recommend getting homemade tartaric acid.

Haddock was great the girl was very friendly did not see the deal but she pointed it out saved some money
