The food at the Poughkeepsie location is delicious and authentic. I placed a large special order for my daughter's graduation party and the food did not disappoint. The jerk chicken and fried chicken was flavorful and well seasoned. My daughters and I have been frequenting this location for many years. Service has always been good, and the owner and all of the staff has always been friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to cater an event or just to stop by for a great dinner to take home

I've been coming to this wonderful restaurant in the main street for many years - and I told the friendly and professional staff to see because I've been praised for many years and 'happy bauch ' times to sing! delicious, freshly cooked and prepared foods and fixin 's - and the portions are on the money! I'm smart enough to know before the afternoon to come so professionally and always so much as you's menu! I just finished some pattys and plantains. hoppla! read less

eating is amazing and I always stop to get my beef patents and some juicy oxtail here plus their customer service great. if they stop a genuine authentic Jamaican food by and support this local place. even if they like to eat and service, they also offer in consideration to deliver reviews and continue to support our local business owners.

Never knew this place existed! My husband went to go pick up the order and said the owner was so sweet. Ordered oxtail for the first time in years and it did not disappoint. Stopped in on Tuesday for take out with my daughter. I never had jerk chicken so I was a little worried I wouldn’t like it. Well, it’s now something I’ll stop to get again. The restaurant was clean and the people were very friendly. I also had a meat pie and curry chicken. I highly recommend the golden crust

The Golden Crust is phenomenal. The food is always so fresh and the patty's are always delicious. Besides the food being superb, the owner is one of the nicest, most beautiful person ever. Always so friendly and smiling. Visiting this store will not disappoint.

Stopped in this morning after work. Was greeted by the friendly owner, she’s such a sweetheart. Got some breakfast; it was well worth it. I would recommend Golden Kristen for authentic Jamaican food!

Definitely the best Caribbean food spot in Poughkeepsie! You get what you pay for honesty she packs the plate to the brim with rice and isnt shy on the extra gravy.
