The foundation of any business is its customer service! The food here is fantastic, but I have to say that during my first visit, I experienced very poor service from what appeared to be either the cook or the owner. After being served by one of the young ladies, who was very polite, I finished my meal and sat for a few minutes. Then, the person who seemed to be in charge came out and yelled at me, asking if I planned to order something or if I would leave, saying he didn't want to waste his time with "stupidity." I didn't respond, but the young lady mentioned that I had indeed purchased something. Instead of apologizing, he coldly remarked that he only saw me sitting there and didn't notice...
I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant on July 11th around 6 PM. I had just come from class when the chef, a bald man, asked me what I wanted. I told him I was just looking, but he responded rudely, saying I should leave if I wasn't going to buy anything. I was taken aback by his attitude and, unfortunately, had to leave quickly to catch a bus. His lack of manners and respect towards customers is unacceptable, and I won’t be returning to that restaurant again. It’s clear that he needs to learn basic customer service skills.
I love the food here ???This is not a fancy resturant, however my meal is always well cooked and tasty. I usually get tilapia fried golden brown, sauteed spinach, homefried potatoes and scrambled eggs with chopped up onions and tomatoes in it. My choice of drink most of the time is a small coffee light and sweet. I get a mini special. It 's less than 7 dollars and well worth it. Seating is limited and parking is free.????
Ordered brown one-pot chicken. I swear, they're pouring the whole bottle of browning in the pot and couldn't tell the potatoes from the chicken. Very good. Been to several golden crust restaurants this the most beautiful food I've ever had

The chicken was delicious, but there were only four pieces of oxtail, and one of them was just a bone with no meat. The beef patty was tough and seemed undercooked. It's frustrating to see a chain restaurant lacking consistency!
I ordered curried goat via DoorDash, and I was quite disappointed. There was just one small piece of meat, mostly consisting of bones. It really wasn't worth the price.
The food was outstanding! Mr. Marshall did a fantastic job hosting my mother's birthday party. Everyone really enjoyed the meal. It was a wonderful experience!

The curried goat was bland, and the meat was underwhelming. Furthermore, the bun was rather dry. On a positive note, the jerk chicken was quite good.
The food was outstanding! Mr. Marshall did an incredible job catering my mother's birthday party. Everyone enjoyed the meal. It was fantastic!
