We had dim sum here on 07/16. Food was not as good as it used to be. We have a party of of 10 plus people and was seated at a long table instead of a circle table. Eating dim sum is a shared food kind of thing so a long table is not ideal. I did ask for a different table but was not accommodated so fine. What was terrible was toward the end. When we cashed out. The check were splits. One of the bill payer refused to give a tip because of the bad service. I felt bad so I left more tips on my check to make up for the difference so is the other payer. I went to this restaurant based on the high reviews. We ordered Hot and Sour Soup, pan fried dumplings, and moo shu chicken and beef/chicken/pork with mixed vegetables.The soup was pretty good (7/10)The dumplings were actually very good (9/10)The main dishes were awful. The moo shu tasted much too sweet and had a soapy flavor that seemed off. The other dish was also very poor tasting. Both dishes had the exact same brown color with zero color in the food. We both ate about 3 mouthfuls and then could not eat anymore. (2/10)So while this placed seemed promising with the appetizers, the main meals were not good at all.Service was excellent though.
Horrible Service! I called for a take out order and the lady kept interrupting me which lead her to misunderstanding me when I asked for xtra bbq sauce for my 2 orders of spare ribs and she kept yelling at me over the phone that they only have one size. Unbelievable. Then I asked for extra wontons for my wonton soup and she said they don’t do that, it cost extra money which I’m fully aware of and I said that’s completely fine I’ll actually take 2 orders of that as well and again, the lady just had a horrible attitude. At that point I just said sorry for wasting your time I’m just going to cancel my order and call somewhere else.
Hmm. We called in as we usually do. No egg drop soup was included, or house mustard and chicken fingers were way overcooked. So I called, to bring it to their attention and didn't get an apology for the error, but was told they don't charge for the soup. It was not about the charge, I was trying to relay an error. We typically visit on weekends and their is a man who takes good care of people. Don't visit on Mondays. Must be the amateurs taking the orders and cooking. Sad representation for a once decent place.

This is the original dim sum restaurant in the area! They never disappoint! During the pandemic, we have been ordering a lot of takeout dim sum and it has been fantastic. I always eagerly anticipate eating here. The food is fresh and authentic. Plus, we always request flats only when ordering chicken wings. Can you believe it?! As a flats lover, this is a dream come true. This place is amazing. Make sure to stop by if you're in the area.
I used to come here for dim-sum pre-pandemic era, now food tastes disastrously bad and I am not talking about being authentic Chinese food, I suspect previous chefs might have left this place. This place mostly relies on take-outs anyway, sad to see how this place have become from one of most recommended place for authentic dim-sum/Chinese restaurant to a one of those quick take-out place.
What a shock this place was! We were staying about 2 minutes away for a few days and we're craving some Asian food. Decided to check this out and were blown away! The food was delicious, the portions were more than significant, the prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly. Definitely a go to spot in the area if you're craving some Chinese food. Check them out!
This restaurant serves the best food, without a doubt. The chefs are top-notch, and if you don't see something on the menu, the owners are willing to prepare it for you. The pork buns are freshly made every day. Don't miss out on the delicious Hong Kong Wonton Soup as well, it's fantastic.

We are so happy to have found this restaurant! I am a native Hong Konger and the food here definitely reminds me of home. If you are in the area and are looking for authentic Chinese food, look no further than Golden Palace.
This Chinese restaurant in Montville/Uncasville is among the best. The bar offers excellent drinks and the chicken wings are outstanding. It's a great spot for a meal if you're in the area. A hidden gem worth discovering.
