Golden Wok Chinese

Ultimately, the food has potential. I had the Kung Pao Chicken w/ Pork Fried Rice, an egg roll, and Fried Shrimp. The Kung Pao Chicken was not bad, but some of the vegetables weren't cooked as much as I'd like. The fried rice was ok but it was a tad bit bland and dry, although the pork was flavored very nicely. The Shrimp didn't have much flavor and I felt they were a bit undercooked for my liking. The egg rolls had a nice crunchy exterior but the flavor of them wasn't to my liking either. Overall for the price I was unsatisfied, but overall not a bad place. Both the service and the food was decent. I just have a different taste I'm looking for. I would suggest giving them a try.

I am so upset I have been ordering from anywhere else all this time!! The food is wonderful!! So thoughtfully made. The crab ragoons are perfect- no terribly hard edges you can't bite through. The spicy tofu/veggie actually had a little spice to it! (I find things described as spicy hardly ever are) veggies are definitely fresh rather than canned or frozen (this is a big deal to me) Etc. The staff are so friendly. They learn your name and are polite. I was a little confused when I went to pick up- you drive around the building to the lane closes to the building to pick up/pay. I will definitely order here again. Thank you!

This restaurant in the greater Waterbury area serves the best Chinese food. The dishes are consistently delicious, especially the Pork lo mein, vegetable fried rice, and Mongolian beef. The General Tso's chicken is amazing, not too spicy or overcooked. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that the rice container is too small. If they could use a regular small size, I would have no complaints at all.

Some of the best Chinese foods I? ve had in the larger New Haven area always an absolute pleasure to have food there, they? very friendly people and good what they do. By far my person favorite Wonton Soup but the Teriyaki Chicken on a stick is the real star of the show. Who doesn't love a bank that turns into a Chinese takeout spot, always fun! Excellent. Never any mistakes with my orders, I love the convenience of driving through the window to pick up, food is incredible- Love the chicken teriyaki on the sticks and the pan meerrote dumplings!, and the customer service is great!

We've tried all of the Chinese food restaurants in the area and Golden Wok is by far the best quality. It is a little strange going through an old bank drive through to pick up your food, but it's very efficient.

This is the best Chinese food I have ever had! I would travel out of town just to eat here. The dishes are fresh and flavorful, and the service is always excellent.
