Dog-friendly pub??????, With caution needed for unfriendly staff towards dogs unless they have been recently groomed. We brought our two elderly dogs, slightly damp from a quick paddle at the beach, only to be met with disgust by a member of staff or possibly the owner. Despite being told by a younger staff member that dogs were allowed, the elderly woman refused to let them in, stating they weren't allowed in that condition. Avoid this place at all costs – we've never been treated so poorly. The woman should be ashamed of her behavior.

Lovely food! I had jacket potato with cheese and salad, delicious. Parents had the OAP fish and chips, great value and very tasty! Recommended!
