terrific! for me this place has everything. the owners, multiple awards brian and carol millar are very experienced, professional and engaged. the pubs are more regular. I found the place that is a good size, well designed and fully covid-compliant. the price for eating and drinking was very reasonable. as regards the commentary about the atmosphere or lack of it, they create, in my opinion, their own by interacting with others. the staff and the masters here were good for a chat and a laugh. I visited both days of my short trip and the personal greeted my friend and I visited on our second visit! How cool is that? I felt relaxed, welcome and safe at this place. the truth behind kirsty buchans 1 star rating, they brought a belling and crying dog, were not in the position and unwilling to keep it quiet, it bothered all customers and were asked to leave. they were rude for the personal, and their critique is retaliated because it is brought out. the staff is friendly and the pub is dog friendly with water provided. the condition is that the dog is on a guide, good behavior and clean, not wet and covered with sand from the beach. that is fair enough, respect for others.

beautiful pub inside, clean, friendly locals. but the merciful on the day we visited was very frosty. but we have all days. would still recommend, as it is very nice in, dog friendly and warm natives.

absolutely love this pub .such a friendly environment. fantastic eating brilliant bar staff. close to all the shops and public transport. would highly recommend a visit.
