Gong - Reserva de mesa

Solo había escuchado cosas buenas sobre este restaurante. Llegamos a las 20:35 para una reserva a las 20:45. Nos quedamos esperando afuera hasta las 21:00 (tengo 75 años). El ambiente era pobre y anticuado y la mesa era muy básica, pero las sillas eran cómodas. Fue a las 21:25 cuando recibimos nuestro entrante. Pedí los tacos de pollo. Me trajeron 2 y eran bastante mediocres y muy caros a €8.50. Mi esposa estaba contenta con su entrante. Ambos pedimos la panceta de cerdo como plato principal. Estaba bien pero demasiado salada y con demasiada soja, que dominaba totalmente el sabor. Nuestras bebidas: pedí agua sin gas en español y mi esposa agua tónica. Acabo de ser informado de que mi reserva fue cancelada porque no la confirmé. Aprecio que las ausencias sin aviso sean un problema para los restaurantes, pero estoy de vacaciones, así que no estoy constantemente revisando mi teléfono y correos electrónicos en busca de mensajes que amenazan con cancelar si no respondes. Ojalá hubieras dicho en el momento de hacer la reserva que necesitarás confirmación 24 horas antes de tu reserva.

As always, a perfect dinner, excellent service, at a very reasonable price. I really think if you are into this quisine, then you could be blindfolded, tick 2/3 dishes at random, and you would be very pleased with your choice. The menu changes regularly and you can trust the owners to provide different quality dishes of food, because they are driven to be successful, thank you very much

The food was amazing . We had the a a crate menu including massaman curry and Dublin katsu curry. There was a great choice on both fixed menu and a la carte. We knew the table was booked for 2 hours but it’s the first time ever I have been asked to vacate a table 5 minutes before our allotted time. Had not been here for 2 years since moving away but took the chance to go again while visiting friends and we were not disappointed. We did go on the waiting list for a table as it is very busy and to be honest we were not expecting an email but fortunately for us we were offered a table. As before the food and service were excellent and we only wish they were nearer to us.

Me and my wife who is vegan went for food last night the 4 course meal is very good value and the flavours and portion sizes and the flavours of the food is amazing the chef Lorraine took the time out to speak to us and is such a lovely person we highly recommend this place and will be returning again many tanks Darren Ireland

Extremely tasty menu for just 20 eur/person. Also very friendly service. Make sure to have a table reservation, as the place was packed even if it was very quiet in the other restaurants in the same mall. Highly recommend this place.
