Came to this place upon request of a friend who wanted to try their live octopus on a weekday evening (7PM). There was a short line of people waiting for tables. As we have made reservation beforehand, we were seated quickly. The live octopus is OK. The assorted sashimi is below average. There were 6 or 7 pcs of salmon on the plate (salmon will never appear on assorted sashimi plate in any Japanese restaurants in Japan. Japanese do not eat raw salmon unless they are wild salmons from Hokkaido)salmons are widely used in so called Japanese restaurants in N America simply because they are cheapSushi again is disappointing. Not the kind you will find in JapanIn any case, this is again a 'Japanes...

We went here for the live octopus. They also have sea cucumbers that look like interesting live creatures that are edible. The octopus was priced at $27 but four of us got to try it. The octopus was really entertaining to eat especially because it tries to hold on to the plate so if your chopstick skills are anything less than perfect the octopus will escape being eaten by you. We also got a sashimi boat which was great. We had a great experience here for dinner. With no reservations we had a waiting time of around 30 minutes on a Thursday night. Parking was ample but full when we arrived.

The service was good and the staff was quick. The sashimi and sushi is good compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area. Their knife skills are definitely more refined. The cuts and shapes of the sashimi was good. The udon wasn't too salty and tasted good. The sushi pizza's rice was a bit like a rice cake because it was stuck together too much, but it worked. All in all, we've been a few times for take out which worked out well and this dine in experience was no different. As well, the kids loved the fish tanks.

We made a reservation for party of 10 including 5 children under the age of 11 and as young as 5. It was quite busy with a line up almost out the door. The waitress staff were quick and efficient although the kitchen/sushi chefs could not keep up with demand. I got the bulgogi/tempura Bento box. The sashimi was good according to my sister-in-law. Good Japanese food for the price. Reserva una mesa ahora

I was on a business trip and this restaurant was recommended. I went there for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was packed. I sat at the bar facing the chefs. I ordered the Gonoe Roll (lovely presentation with the lobster) and the Shrimp Tempura Roll. It was absolutely delicious! I am from Montreal but next time I go on a business trip in Ontario, I am going back for sure.

Both their Sushi and Sashimi are fresh and good. The three of us had their small combination boat plus the eel with rice and was enough for us three. If you are adventurous with your taste buds, you could try their exotic sea food combo that include life abalone, sea squirt, sea cucumber, gaebul (giant sea worm) and life baby octopus. Service is good and price mid-range.

Most servers speaks limited English yet very attentive. Very tiny table for 2, it's a small capacity restaurant to start off with. The sashimi platter was disappointing, it is not sashimi fresh. That somehow made a negative impact to the rest of the dishes we had! Wow factor to the living seafood in the small tank and containers.

Good selection of both Korean and Japanese dishes. Including some Korean style Hwe if you know the difference. The rolls and sashimi were tasty. Not your super perfected sushi house, but very good ! So too was the tempura. Ourselves and two kids were about $60 for a super filling lunch with a beer. Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant was busy on Monday night, so were the wait staffs - but still very polite and accommodating. We've had a medium size sashimi boat - added some extra hamachi, uni and ikura for just under $100 including tax and gratuity. All items were fresh and in very decent quality.
