So I stopped in for the first time on my way home from work, with intentions of trying something new. The woman who greeted me was very kind and patient with me as I explained to her that I was unfamiliar with most foods on the menu. She inquired about what meats/flavors/spiciness that I liked, then recommended me the beef nihari. I agreed, and she invited me to sit at an empty table in the restaurant while I wait since I was taking it to go. She then offered me a cup of chai tea while I waited, and I gratefully accepted. Good Food by Uzma is a misnomer — it’s phenomenal food. If you want true Pakistani food and don’t want it to feel like you’re eating take out, come here! The flavors are perfect, the portions are great, and it truly tastes like “ghar ka khanna” (home food). The butter naans are cooked to perfection. I’ve been here multiple times over the past two years and had multiple different dishes, and each dish is a hit. I’ve also gotten catering, and it was still perfection. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

I got take out and my ratings are really a 3.5 vs a 3 but google doesn’t let us do half ratings. I got nihati , biryanis , samosa, garlic naan, beef Bihari paratha roll. My fav was the paratha roll! Soo yum .. that was definitely a 4 .. the nihari was decent and so was the biryani… I would go back got this place hands down but I live in north jersey so an hour plus away from me! I like this place for its ambiance, food, polite decent staff and I got to meet the person behind the name ‘Uzma’. It’s always good to see management interacting with clients/customers and keep up with current trend. Have tried their different food items and every dish adds value to the table. I recommend this place to try their various food Items! One of my favorite is PAYA ?.

1. Appetizers were good2. The main course meal was disappointing, and the meat and chicken karahi were horrible.3. Baryani was very ordinary4. There was a family sitting right next to us. Seems like some relative of the owner. They were very loud and every 5 mins trying to sneak into kitchen. I started having headaches after leaving this place.

I've been to this restaurant two nights running now something I never usually do! Great food, friendly staff (chat to Uzma she's lovely) and a welcoming atmosphere. I've been with a friend and we've been sharing dishes. Really recommended.

Very nice Pakistani cuisine food. Chicken Karahi is a must try dish.Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options but those are delicious. Sizzler Paneer tikka is one of them. Reserva una mesa ahora
