You are absolutely guaranteed a good night (or day) dining at this wonderful Windsor establishment. This modern Vietnamese restaurant is so much fun, from it's kitschy decor, it's epic drink selection, amazing food and fantastic, hospitable staff. <br/ <br/ Walking in to this open fronted restaurant, you are met with a room full of tables covered in bold floral plastic tablecloths, pink palm trees and a long bar area. 4.5. This place had colourful floral table cloths and very spacious! It 's certainly not your usual Vietnamese restaurant it 's one done with a modern twist!<br/ <br/ We started off with a TEPACHE MATE which was a house fermented pineapple juice infused with ginger, spices and yerba mate. Very interesting and refreshing! One of my new favourite spots on Chapel. The space is adorable and food is incredible, featuring very traditional Vietnamese dishes with a contemporary spin rather than the fussy fusion dishes a lot of restaurants in the area lean on. The steamed rice rolls are a must try and have the most delicious sauce. I also love the taro, corn and coconut pancakes which are relatively difficult to find in inner city Melbourne. For a main, I tried the curry which comes with rice and is pretty good value for money, with a nicely flavoured base and generous amount of veg. The drinks list is refined, featuring craft beer and natural wine and great cocktails. Such a great addition to the neighbourhood.
