The buffet is excellent! It features a delicious selection of meats and vegetables, salads, and desserts. They serve the best fried chicken and fried pork chops in town, and don't miss the fried fish on Fridays! It's all classic southern-style cooking. The tea is amazing too. Honestly, if you leave there still hungry, you must be missing a few bricks! Lol. I highly recommend it—I visit three to four times a week. For seniors, the cost is just $10. The buffet is open on Saturdays and Sundays as well. Enjoy!
The food was quite good with a nice variety on the menu. We visited during the transition between breakfast and lunch and would have preferred to try breakfast items. The biscuits and gravy were tasty. Being from Florida, our usual meals don’t include this kind of cuisine, so it felt like a refreshing change. If we're in the area again, we would likely choose to eat here once more. However, the restaurant could benefit from some updates and a deep cleaning, though it wasn't in terrible condition.
This place was a hidden treasure! I'm usually not a fan of buffets, but everything they served was packed with authentic Southern flavors. The fried chicken, fried pork chops, and sweet potato casserole were just a few of the delicious options. The desserts were equally impressive. The kids enjoyed it as well!
