Booked for Christmas dinner, starters were fab! Very quick service. Servers were very nice, the main was very disappointing. Uncooked vegetables, turkey tasted processed literally a table spoon of mashed potato. Soft roast potatoes. We booked the table at 3pm possibly chefs did not have any fresh food left? we received a cube of stuffing per person after asking where it was. (Not much bigger then a dice) Would not recommend booking Christmas dinner here, especially later in the afternoon. Went home hungry. All of our table left 1/2 or a little less of our mains. Christmas pudding dessert was lovely.
Had a fantastic time today at the Gordon’s Arms celebrating Christmas with my family! Holly was an absolute delight, entertaining, efficient and very friendly! The food was excellent too but the girl deserves a promotion for her go-getter attitude and leadership on a very busy Christmas eve afternoon! Herself and her friend Caitlin kept the mood light throughout and made the experience what it was.
Came in for Christmas dinner today and was served by Molly who delivered service with a smile in a very efficient manner, not much seemed to be the issue and she was very polite and professional with our table even with a few issues with our pre-order not being correct. She laughed it off and handled it very maturely especially during the business of the Christmas dinner rush!
We went to Gordon arms for a Boxing Day we have preordered like a month ago and it still took 65 minutes for our starter to and main was followed 25 minutes later aswell as the desert in the picture is how one of our deserts came out it is unexpected. And our waitress was Laura and she did fill our needs but it did take time.

Molly and Cailin are lovely young women who are friendly, fun, and great workers at the Gordon Arms restaurant. The food is very good and the pints are excellent, served with a smile. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment.
This restaurant is a great spot for lunch, with delicious food and an amazing staff. Molly stood out as a standout employee, providing excellent service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try it out.

Excellent as always food service after having a bad experience with the restaurant we had booked for lunch ended up at the gordon arms as usual brilliant

Cailin is always friendly and helpful no matter how busy she is. The food was slightly cold today and she was apologetic and genuine.
