I attended a private holiday party at Gordo's North last night, and everything from the food to the service was outstanding. The appetizers included rice balls, sliders, and quesadillas—all were tasty, with the rice balls standing out as the best. For the entrees, there was steak (likely hanger or flank), which was tender and flavorful, along with chicken francese and penne vodka. Often at private parties in bar and grill settings, buffet food can be disappointing or taste reheated, but that was not the case here. I was pleasantly impressed by the quality. The service was equally excellent and very friendly. Despite having over 50 guests, only two servers managed to keep up with drink orders...
My wife found GN because there is live music. The bands and dancing have been great. I have to say that the food is fantastic. Every item is fresh and perfectly cooked. I spoke to the owner a few weeks ago and praised his place and he told me that his chicken scarp was without equal because of his chef. I love scarp and ordered it today hoping the owner honest about it. I have to say that was the best chicken scarp I have every had. It was perfect. This is my favorite place now

Had a post-funeral luncheon here for family and friends and it was wonderful. Lisa, Mike and the Gordo’s North staff were amazing. The food was excellent, the service great, and having a private room for this event allowed us to visit with friends and family we haven’t seen for a while. We appreciate the kindness, concern, and support we received from the whole staff. Thank you Lisa, Mike, and Staff!

I've been to Gordo's North a few times, and the food is outstanding. My wife ordered the linguine and clams and absolutely loved it. I enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak—it had real steak strips and was delicious. The wings were fantastic—crispy and full of meat. The service was excellent, with Lisa checking in on us several times to make sure everything was perfect.
My friends and I visit Gordo's North about once a week, and we absolutely love it! The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff always make us feel welcome, and the food is incredible. We've been trying different dishes from the menu, and everything has been consistently delicious. Thanks so much, Gordo's! Truly a hidden gem in that plaza!
first ordered takeout; mostly bar type food and it was generally good. no utensils or serviettes provided, maybe someone has forgotten to pack it. the attention was appreciated when several people asked whether I was helped to respond. Try it again. 3.7 stars.
I love coming to this restaurant on the weekends to enjoy live bands and DJs. The sweet potato fries are delicious and the eggplant parmigiana is pretty good as well. It's always a great time here.
