The main feature of this restaurant is its location close to the Timmendorfer Strand (famous German beach and holiday destination near Lübeck). Hence, the view of some German parts of the Baltic Sea is stunning. My wife and I were invited by a friend to lunch. Despite being a weekday, the place was very busy and we had to wait for about 10 minutes to find a vacant table on the large deck outdoors. Meal orders have to be given inside. In return you get an electronic device which beeps when the order is ready to be collected. We all had seafood dishes (mussels, various grilled fish and French fries). This restaurant serves no nonsense, traditional German (mainly seafood) dishes. It is a self service restaurant, you queue up, place your order, and then take your food to your table of choice. The food was quickly delivered, well presented, and tasted great. The food is ver reasonably priced.The restaurant is based on a dune looking directly out over the beach and Baltic. The view from the terrace is very atmospheric. The terrace has glass screens to protect you from the sea breeze, and parasols to keep the sun off your heads.If you want to laze around, then they serve a good selection of beers and wine too.

The fish is super fresh and the location is amazing - looks like one of those places in the pictures of Abercrombie&Fitch catalogues. Try the crabs and pair it with champagne - your evening will turn to be marvelous. Grab a place and sit down outside when the weather allows, it worthy a visit! Be careful, the "rote grutze" dessert is addictive (and one portion is enough for two)!

I really enjoyed the restaurant and the relaxing atmosphere.The self service makes it very easy and the kitchen is really fast. I went on a saturday night and they had a live rock band, playing music from the eighties. Very nice. The view is amazing. And the whole concept of the restaurant is very fresh. good quality, generous portions. ten times better as the Gosch in Timmendorfer Strand (where I stayed), which is not to be recommended. Scharbeutz is typical Gosch: quality, quality and a friendly atmosphere. None of these is applicable to the branch in Timmendorf (too small, crowded, everything in a hurry, unfriendly staff).

Self service restaurant in a top location at the beach. Friendly service and nice fresh sea food. A wide selection of dishes with fish, crab and clams. Some other dishes as well such as Tai noodles. You can sit outside nd inside. They have blankets and heating elements outside for when it is a bit colder out.

We have been at this restaurant and found it wonderful. We had the best seafood having ordered different dishes, and all of them were delicious. The best thing are the prices; very reasonable. Looking forward to go back before I fly back to Puerto Rico.

I'm not keen on the concept in this chain: you queue to order food, then a different queue for drinks and they don't even bring your food when it's ready. I had burnt, dry fish with dry, tasteless chips. Poor quality fast food at a premium price! Reserva una mesa ahora

As always a nice place to stay and get some Thai Pasta with Scampi!! This is my favourite dish at Gosch and having the view over the dunes and the baltic Sea - what else could make me more happy?!

Super fresh local seafood and a mean strawberry punch! So nice we didnt mind it was self service.
