Arrived, greeted straight away and allowed to pick a table to sit at. We sat down and it was explained either order at till or on app. Told they have run out on certain burgers. We ordered via the app, which was a little bit a faff but managed in end. Used the toilets, not very tidy, lack of toilet paper. Food came quite quickly but our drinks didn't come till half way through food after asking for them. Asked for changes on my burger but came with the item I didn't want. GBK used to be my favourite place in town to get a burger but unfortunately I won't be returning after my most recent visit. The burger ordered was medium rare, this was overdone. The baconnaise tasted absolutely awful, it tasted like chemicals and was quite acidic. Onion rings were so chewy I actually spat it out. Staff didn't come over once to check on our meal. Sat at the table afterwards for 15 mins after eating and no one came over and cleared our plates despite the restaurant being empty on a Thursday night. Really disappointed and feel robbed of £50. It's an expensive place and usually I wouldn't mind paying as I've never had a bad meal here but sadly I won't return after this latest...
Strolling through Liverpool one out of all hospitality venues we chose this one, I had American cheese burger, my partner a classic Chicken, I have been a working chef for 47 years, I have made fresh burgers for sites I have worked at, also at home, yours have got to be the best I've tasted, a great recipe it would seem using 3 cuts of beef delivering a crumbly but firm flavoursome burger, ordered medium and cooked to perfection. My partner fancied chicken and had the grilled classic chicken, again cooked to perfection yet moist with a lovely chargrill flavour. Phoned GBK ahead of visit and staff member we spoke to was super helpful and remembered we'd called. Sorry I have forgotten name, but made us feel really welcome. Food arrived quickly, cooked as requested (well done etc. and most importantly tasted delicious. Of particular note were the onion rings. The best we have tasted in a long time! This in no way effected our visit, but I would agree with others that some of the decor, particularly the yellow leather seating, could do with updating. More as we were so impressed by the food and the front of house member of staff who served us that it seems a shame that this might put people off. We would definitely go again next time we are in Liverpoo...

Today, we visited this restaurant and tried the special priced burger and fries for £7. I chose the chicken burger with bacon and American cheese, while my husband opted for a plain burger and fries. We also ordered a happy hour milkshake and a pint of lager for £4 each, along with an extra side of BBQ sauce. This was apparently the new menu that started today, and the staff asked for our feedback. I must say, the food was delicious and great value for money. The staff were attentive and friendly, which makes us eager to return in the future.
I went here with my partner on a Saturday evening for a bite to eat. The restaurant has a nice buzz to it and we were given a reallt friendly welcome by Ashlea and seated quickly. Ashlea was very attentive and helped us with anything we needed, she made the dining experience at GBK enjoyable as she was very cheerful and bubbly. The food was lovely! Thanks.
Very disappointed this was the first time at this restaurant and although the staff were Bernice the actual place is very shabby and tired looking. The cleanliness was poor and we waited quite a while for our food which when it came it was lukewarm and on a totally inadequate sized plate. All in all not a great experience.
My partner and I visited here tonight. The service was fantastic. The manager sat with us to help us get our order sorted on the app as we had a deal on there. All of the staff were lovely.. The food was gorgeous too! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back

During our first visit to Liverpool, my family and I decided to try out GBK and we were not disappointed. The burgers were delicious and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend trying the blue cheese burger and any of their milkshakes.
