I was just going in to get my food after a long work day and the assistant literally came at me for having “onions in the food” and then said “oh yeah you would always call back and yell at me because there would be onions in your food and your brother would be the one that would never tell me that you didn’t want onions in your food and I would get in and then I would get yelled at. That scene took place 2012 was like 12 years ago. I honestly cannot believe how embarrassed and unprofessional this Interaction was I will never never coming back and I feel so uncomfortable. We went there a few weeks ago from the suggestion of a neighboring restaurant to try. After just eating at the other restaurant. We stopped in quickly just to take a look. We ordered sticky wing's and Crab ragoon to go. Were delicious. Went again yesterday, was pleasantly busy but not overly. Was seated right away the place by no means isn't modern but was definitely cleaner then the last restaurant who suggested coming here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was fresh and hot. We ordered from the lunch menu and the portion size looked liked dinner. Plenty of food options. Found our new spot. !!! Well worth the ride.
What happen ? Went a month ago had a good meal. Went in tonight place was empty and restaurant temp was on the cool side. Waitress came over and gave us menu’s which was different than a month ago. I had last time a pea pod leaf entree that was fantastic on this new menu couldn’t find it We ordered pan fried dumpling lacked flavor and was on the oily side . I ordered chicken chow mein which was 75% onions little chicken and a few other vegetables and the dish was luke warm at best My husband has egg foo young which was ok Sorry to say we won’t return
Ordered lunch specials close to end of lunch. Received meals that were substandard. The order was to go.. Received 2 inch piece of bone. That was supposed to be a spare rib that had no meat on it and and a larger piece of spare room that they could not sell that had no sauce. No seasoning nothing on it and a lot of rice. We love it here so much. We come almost weekly and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent, it’s very affordable, and most importantly the food is delicious! Most recently got the teriyaki beef and and green curry soup. Every meal comes with tea, as well!
