Govender's Gourmet

This is another one of my favorite withdrawal restaurants. It is an unusual combination of fish chips Curry House, but it works! The fish is fresh and on the display so you can select the desired piece. Fish is served with chips, pasta or salad with a variety of fresh sides. Meaters include grilled chicken, steaks or burgers also available with a variety of pages. The curries are also well served with the choice of chicken, beef, lamb or pawns with or without rice and in a variety of combinations. Vegetarians are also supplied with a variety of traditional vegetable cures. This restaurant is closed on Mondays, but a visit every other day will certainly satisfy your hunger.

This cafe has good coffee, and is happy if you bring your own lactose free milk. Gluten free options available. Portions are generous, and chef and table staff are very gentle. The cafe is well located in a quiet street with a Mediterranean feel. Recommended if you're in Joondalup. We feel like regulars!

My family and I have been coming to Govenders for over a decade. It is a family-run business that makes a variety of tasty dishes and is very convenient for taking on busy nights. Very recommend the lamb curry, rice and paratha.

Back again as a family member leaves nearby, grilled fish is amazing, great served. Very friendly service. Cakes look amazing, but could not fit in..... Family member had loved Curry. Definitely worth a visit.
