Our experience in this restaurant was poor. We arrived just as it was opening at 2000 hrs and were the first customers the young man at the bar was very friendly and he was the only saving grace as far as we were concerned. We sat down and he took our drink order and brought us the menu. Then the phone started ringing for take away orders, not only was her waiting table he was also expected to take the phone orders so it was a little time before he came to take our order. We ordered a first course each and a main course which he took to the kitchen, then the shouting started. What sounded like a female voice started screeching in the kitchen then a male voice joined in the young man standing by the bar at this point looked rather embarassed and seemed glad when the phone rang. Our first course arrived, Spring rolls for my wife and fried Won Tun for me, both were swimming in grease and the won Tun looked nothing like any I've had before and tasted the same. About halfway through eating our first course, serenaded by the phone ringing, the rice for the second course arrived and was placed on the table to get cold. We finished the first course and waited and waited for the second course and in the meantime a Chinese looking man came out of the kitchen and began shouting at the young waiter. The second course arrived, beef on a sizzling platter for my wife and duck on a platter for me, the waiter took the dirty first course plates away and then started answering the phone again. After about 3 phone orders we called over to him and asked him to bring some plates and serving spoons so we could start our meal and after one more phone call he brought plates but no serving spoons and then went back to answer the phone again. After bring in serving spoons and cutlery the Chinese gentleman came back out of the kitchen and began telling the waiter that he was not wrapping the take away orders properly and began showing him how to but not quietly, everything he did seemed to have to be at full volume. The beef my wife had was very salty and she was unable to finish it so she had some of my duck instead with the, by now, cold rice We asked for the bill and when it arrived went over to the bar to pay as the constant ringing of the phone was keeping the waiter busy and I knew we would have to wait for a while if we waited at the table to pay and receive our change. The Chinese gentleman then appeared out of the kitchen and virtually snatched the money out of my hand and slammed the change down on a table next to the till. The owner of this establishment needs to decide is he a takeaway or a restaurant and staff the premises accordingly. I do not blame the young waiter as he has obviously been told to answer the phone as quickly as possible for the takeaway orders.

Pedí a casa, la comida llegó pronto, y el precio de calidad ratio es muy bueno, la comida vino caliente. Los platos son generosos, eran frescos y muy ricos. ¡Respeto! Para mí, Jaen es el mejor chino.
