Grand River Raceway

My first time at this racetrack. I am not an avid gambler or horse race enthusiast but was keen on an evening of fun and entertainment. I found it a bit confusing regarding which building to go to. Was a group of 4 of us out for something exciting and have a bite to eat. My observation would suggest more staff is required at the food outlets. Had to go to two locations as fries were not available outdoors. Very slow service. Beer and food is pricy but typical of places like this. Options on food was not great but what they did have was good.Where to place your bets were minimal but we're able to handle the line-ups in time. 09/2023 We sat in the buffet dining area even though buffet wasn't being served. Air conditioned and heated with a great view of the track and personalized monitors for even better views makes it a great place to watch from, no matter the weather. When you can bet as little as $1.20 on a race $0.20 trifecta box which means pick the top three horses in the race and they can finish in any order, just have to be top three! and often 10 or so races a night. A couple can have a fun evening for just $25 but also maybe even win some cash to take home : .

GRAND RIVER RACEWAY does an excellent job keeping the grounds in beautiful shape. Always impressed. Last nite I had the Smashburger with fries at the snack bar and have to say it was the best burger I've ever had. Wish I could get my homemade burgers to taste like this! And the French fries where homemade deliciousness not frozen ones. Keep up the good work GRR

Love the horses. But season was done for the year. Beautiful place and still had a great time with penny slots and the town of Elora. Love the horse races, but I'm disappointed on them closing the old amazing buffet restaurant and only offering a very limited and expensive pub styled menu . This forced out group to split up instead of enjoying a sit down meal together. Other than that love this place we come every year!

Always great to go to the raceway on a race night or any event. Food is great, service is good. Beautiful, big clean facility. AND going supports the local Agricultural Society, the horse racing industry and our local economy. Visited on: Weekday Wait time: No wait

Came for the monthly Bingo held by the local Rotary Club chapter. The building is easy to navigate, clean and always full of friendly and attentive staff. I love visiting this building for the horse races, casino, monthly bingo, and local events.

We recently held our employee appreciation event at the Raceway. Patio was perfect setting. Pleasantly greeted upon arrival, food was perfect for the event and accommodated dietary requirements with ease. Definitely recommend and will be back. Reserva una mesa ahora
