While travelling along the TransCanada Highway, my search for fuel led me to the small town of Grenfell, SK. Feeling hungry, my companions and I sought out a place to eat and found the Granite Bar Grill, which also doubled as a bakery and sandwich café. The owner, who was Asian and spoke minimal English, prepared our sandwiches using whole wheat bread and fresh ingredients from the bakery. We also indulged in a delicious cinnamon roll for dessert. Despite the language barrier, the simple yet tasty food made our meal enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made it a pleasant stop on our long journey. I would recommend it to others in need of a satisfying lunch and delightful treat...
