Food was good but the service.....meh! Seated 20 minutes before closing. The waiter didn't take our order until 9 minutes before they closed. Waited 30 minutes for our food because the waiter was busy closing up the patio and forgot to bring it out from the kitchen. 10 minutes into our meal, the staff turned on all the lights and started screaming at each other from across the bar as if we didn't exist. We went to this restaurant for the first time on our visit to Chicago. We weren't disappointed with the food or drinks, but with the erroneous, overpriced bill. Even after complaining to the manager who then changed the bill. after checking again we still paid 2$50 too much. By the way, this restaurant charges a credit card fee of 2.5% of the bill. Incidentally, the fee was also calculated from the original, higher invoice! This is customer fraud!
As a resident of South Loop, I must say this is the best happy hour deal in the neighborhood. I sat at the bar and ordered the cheeseburger, fries, and 2 glasses of wine for $30. That’s a deal unheard of in downtown and the food was delicious! The vibe is different since it’s connected to a hotel (mostly tourists families) but it’s a great spot for a happy hour deal. Service was spot on as well.
We left the table immediately after one of your waiters behaved disrespectful and prepotent. Dudes, your business runs because WE PAY YOU, and your staff apparently needs a reminder of that. Forget about us stepping in ever again. Your place was our worst experience after 10 days in Chicago.

Over priced food, over priced drinks, they add a “service fee” on every bill of $20 however the actual service is HORRIBLE!!! Every time we ordered we only got half our order, even when the waiter wrote down our order, we still didn’t get it! I will never ever return!
I recently visited Grant Park Bistro and it was a great experience. The draft beer selection was superb, and the burgers and meat plates were cooked to perfection. It had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Super disappointed. We were staying at the hotel that houses Grant Park Bistro. They told us they were closing at 8pm even though the web site said 10pm. We got ushered out quickly. Clearly they didn’t want to work.
Food was fine- bit over priced. Vibes were weird. Staff was uncomfortably awkward, and they tried to charge us for a tip twice. Overall, bit of an uncomfortable experience.

Very kid-friendly. Came here for my daughter’s birthday, and she and her friend stood up and started dancing. The waiter joined in. Made their night!
