Delicious, hearty, Asian fusion vegan food. Very reasonably priced. Very friendly, with the atmosphere of a mom and pop place. While they serve many meat and seafood dishes, none of them try to trick you into thinking you 're eating the real thing. But, if you take them as what they are, you 'll find them to be flavorful with interesting combinations of textures. Among my family 's favorites: the sweet and sour No Name , beef with Chinese broccoli, dumplings, hot and sour soup... Go and support a small local restaurant that 's serving great food in an unpretentious setting. Our favorite!
First off, if you’re coming here for the first here’s what you’re gonna wanna try: -No-name (basically a vegan general tsos chicken) -The chicken fingers(similar to the ones at a Chinese restaurant but vegan) -The veggie fried rice(go with the fake beef, trust me it’s awesome) Some reviews said they didn’t like what they got…well you didn’t get what this place is known for. Try what I suggested. This place is legendary. If you go to shows in Boston, then you know this has always been a mandatory stop for tour members and attendees before or after a show.
I can appreciate a vegan Chinese restaurant but their scallion pancakes, I ordered as an appetizer, tasted like absolutely nothing but oil! Literally. I told the staff member to please take that off the bill as I did not like it nor did I eat it and they refused to remove it. Not making this up. Their house special fried rice was good but I already had a bad taste in my mouth from their refusal to remove the appetizer. I wish I could have liked it, but unfortunately, not going back.
This place ain’t good . Their was a fly hovering over my food for entire time . In addition, a bug dropped in my water . I was so worried that I will get bugs in my food . Who knows may be few of them did drop . Food was below average . Restaurant was empty . Serving lady was nice and gentle but that was the only positive about the place . I feel bad writing this negative review but I am writing in hope that they will improve the place . So other customers can have good experience .

This restaurant offers excellent vegan and vegetarian Chinese cuisine. The dishes are fresh, tasty, and served in large portions at affordable prices. The service is fast and there is a wide selection of options to choose from. The tea is also excellent, served hot. I have been a loyal customer for many years and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant to gluten-free and vegan diners alike.
Everything we had here was delicious! I would highly recommend the tempura, scallion pancake, and sautéed spinach for appetizers. For mains, everyone liked the No Name best and the Grasshopper Special. It was really delicious and I’m so glad it was all vegetarian and mostly vegan! They were so attentive and accommodating for our big party. Thank you! We appreciate you all! We’ll definitely be back!
For the price we paid, the food was really good! They offer mostly vegetarian options as well as a few vegan options. Every third Sunday of the month, there is a buffet. Pretty chill atmostphere, the staff were friendly and attentive, food was great for the price. I can see myself coming back again!
I highly recommend this restaurant. I love their soups, especially the tofu noodle and wonton soups. They are very delicious and healthy! Despite other restaurants raising their prices, Grasshopper remains affordable. The staff is also very friendly!

This family-owned restaurant offers delicious food at a great value! The service is always fast, kind, and helpful. My friends and I love coming here whenever we can. The vegan Vietnamese cuisine is absolutely delicious.
