Our server was attentive and accommodating. No complaints at all in that department. In NY we are discerning about our Italian food. Gravy was sub par all around. Pasta was thick and gluey, and spaghetti was the sole option. “Focaccia” pizza margherita was like Stouffer's. Inedible for my teen. A rip off. Meatballs were mushy and flavorless. Alfredo sauce tasted out of a jar. We should have heeded the previous poor reviews. Interestingly, I left a more detailed review immediately after our meal Tuesday night this week and it never posted.
We were visiting from Knoxville,Tn and drove into downtown Raleigh looking for a place to eat dinner.The name of the restaurant Gravy made me curious.I ate the lasagna and it was fabulous we also ate the garlic knot’s that very good.My husband ate the Chicken parmesan and really liked it.I think the bar tender that served us was Justin he was very attentive.If you are in downtown Raleigh we highly recommend giving it a try you will not be sorry.
The noodles are made fresh in-house, and they are absolutely delicious! I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese, and it was fantastic! The service was excellent, and our server was very friendly. The only drawback is the location; I don't visit the city very often. As for parking, we had to use a garage and walk to the restaurant, which wasn't too bad, but it's definitely more of a hassle compared to parking in the suburbs.
I had the salmon dish, which was cooked to perfection! My wife enjoyed the ravioli, which had the perfect blend of cheese and sauces. Our server, Sam, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere, desserts, and salads all contributed to a wonderful experience. It was our first time at GRAVY, and it definitely deserves a full 10 stars!

We had our company Christmas party at Gravy this past Sunday. Everything was fantastic. The private room that we booked was beautiful and spacious. The bartenders were personable, knowledgeable, hard working and efficient. We really enjoyed the buffet. Thank you guys!
The food was delicious, and they were accommodating with vegan modifications. I requested the gnocchi with gravy instead of the cream sauce, and it turned out wonderfully. The raspberry limoncello is one of my all-time favorite drinks!
The Italian cuisine was outstanding, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting! I would definitely recommend this place.
Food is amazing! A definite favorite place to eat, Adam and Dani (sorry if I spelt it wrong) treated us like family ?

The food was a perfect 10 out of 10—absolutely unbelievable! It's the best I've had since leaving Italy.
Pasta is home made and the gravy (pasta sauce) is super tasty and dish dependent.
