Great American Cookies

I stopped by the restaurant to order two cakes on Tuesday of this week, one for my son's actual birthday and one for his birthday party on Saturday. We picked up the cakes on Tuesday and they were delicious! However, when I called ahead to pick up the Saturday cake, I was told that they didn't have the order and couldn't fulfill it because a manager wasn't present. I was very disappointed by this lack of customer service. As a business owner myself, I understand that times are tough, but communication is key. Ordered a cookie cake for pickup at 1pm, was told upon arrival that the employees were locked out and their manager wouldn’t arrive until 2:30. We return at 2:30 and still had to wait 30 minutes for the cookie cake to be ready. It was not even to my specified ordered but zero refund or compensation was given. Was told that only the manager can issue the refund and it would possibly be for 10% plus the $5 up charge for m&ms that we did not receive for our cookie cake. We will be returning tomorrow to discuss with the manager who didn’t bother to stay on site to help her team catch up on the 10+ cookie cake orders that were hours behind.

I was told that only the manager could authorize a refund, which might only be 10% of the cost plus a $5 fee.

The two girls working tonight were wonderful in helping me choose an ice cream and dessert. I wasn't sure what to order but they were very helpful. The environment of the restaurant was also great!

Person working there did not have a mask on and her hair was all over the place, kept sweeping it back out of her face over the mixing of ice cream with reeces. Not very clean.
