Anyone who gave this place more than 1 star must be a local because the angry man taking food orders in back said how awful it is because of all the tourists and that season is over. Same guy walked by our table and made a derogatory comment about tourists and proceeded to do a rude imitation of tourists standing in line. They abruptly shut down the kitchen at 7:15 on Sunday night and the place was packed and people were standing in line to get food (many people left). To our dismay, the kitchen abruptly closed at 7:15 PM on a Sunday evening, even though the restaurant was crowded with many people still waiting to order. A number of patrons left frustrated. We felt lucky to have placed our order in time, but after 45 minutes, a rude waitress with a pixie haircut yelled at us for moving to another area (which we had been directed to) and claimed she couldn't find us.
When customers tried to walk to the back to place their orders, they were confronted by the cook, who was shaking a pair of metal tongs and shouting at them to read the "Closed" sign. We attempted to talk to the owner, Scott, about the staff's behavior, but he aggressively told us to leave wit...
Will do in a pinch but don't recommend. My husband and I walked in and waited at the bar for way too long. We flagged down the bartender a couple times before we got assistance. The bar and grill wasn't even busy. A couple that arrived to the bar after us got served drinks well before we did. Once we were able to get the bartender we ordered drinks and then had to go to a separate counter to order dinner before my husband and I carried our own drinks/dinner outside to eat on their patio. The garden buger is not vegan! I'm glad the man taking our order mentioned it contains cheese and can't be ordered without. I ended up with the veggie sandwich which was ok but the fries were very cold.
The atmosphere both inside and outside the restaurant is wonderful. The bartender was friendly, which was a nice touch. The bar food is acceptable but not particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the servers was quite unpleasant; she was the rudest I have ever encountered. The young woman with the short pixie haircut was extremely disrespectful, seemingly annoyed to even take our order, and her rudeness persisted when she served our food. To make matters worse, she casually used profanity several times, even in front of children. Given the abundance of great dining options in the area, I cannot recommend this place.

What an awesome place! Had some kiddos we took here and we all had a blast playing with the shuffle boards and pool tables. The customer service was fantastic and food was super quick. I got the veggie sandwich and it was surprisingly delicious. I also got the shrimp po boy special one day and holy cow! I will be craving that thing for a long time. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the sauce wasn?t overpowering. I was full halfway through, but ended up finishing the whole thing because it was that good! Prices were reasonable too. I will definitely be coming back to this place if I?m ever in the area again!
Great atmosphere inside outside. Friendly bartender. Acceptable bar food, but nothing special. Rudest sever I?ve ever encountered. Young girl with short, pixie haircut had SUCH A MOUTH on her. She seemed put out that she even needed to take our order, was blatantly rude both when we ordered and when she delivered our food. And thought nothing of letting the ?f? word fly multiple times in front of children. Definitely would not recommend this place when there are so many great restaurants right around the corner.
My husband and 16 year old Granddaughter went to the Great Northampton Bar and Grill. We did not eat there, it was for activities. It?s a large bar , always busy. We played ping pong, a shooting gallery, and shuffleboard. They had a band playingoutside on their patio. The have two bars, always busy. Fun place to go.
Mary's offers a vibrant atmosphere with a dark, artistic dive bar vibe. The full bar provides a wide selection of drinks, and the food is fantastic. The customer service is also exceptional, making for a wonderful dining experience.

Very nice outdoor patio. You order for abs drinks at the counter and they delivery it to your table. Fast service and family friendly. We got the veggie sandwich and jalapeno poppers and both were really good!
Fantastic music and a wonderful atmosphere! The drinks are affordable, and the portions are generous. The cover band was excellent! It felt genuine and laid-back—an awesome night in a quaint town!
